Don't Fret, Before You Know It, It'll Be Biking Season

The MidWeekMTB – race series – is currently renewing our sponsorships for the 2012 season.  If you are a fan of the series and want to see bigger payouts, better prizes or just want the series to continue to thrive, contact either Brooke or Luke ( info (@) midweekmtb.com ) and get a complimentary High-5 and our sponsorship run-down.

New this year season we will be incorporating Deer Valley Resort as a venue! Deer Valley ResortYou got it, smooth tacky trails through the shady groves of #1 Ski Resort in North America (awarded by SKI Magazine).  We’re still looking at keep 12 races, just adding some vert to the season.

The series will continue to offer volunteer opportunities for trail work, but this season we will be coordinating specific days, so we can hammer-out a section in MidWeekMTB fashion.

Once we have the venue dates sorted we will offer a discounted rate for purchasing all races in advance, so stay posted, you don’t want to miss that deadline.

Park City Young RidersThis year Park City Young Riders will be back and more competitive than ever, so watch out, I hear “Hailey’s Comet” will be faster than ever.

Last Race of the 2011 Season

Posted: 29th August 2011 by Luke in Mid-Week News, Races
Winner PayoutsAre you ready for the last race of the season?

This is your last chance to beat out “that” rider, nab some more points and/or peddle harder than you thought possible…. on a Tuesday evening. I set the course this morning with the rising sun on a perfectly moistened trail, I think we’re going to have stellar trail conditions for tomorrow’s last romp.

The point winning payouts are insane, $6,000 IN CASH!  (interested robbers – don’t even think about it) We’re going deep with dolla’z and the custom made plaques created by CNC Routing, so don’t fret if you are not in the top spot.

ALL racers will have the oportunity to win some great gear from the end-of-series raffle, especially since our Solitude Resort Venue Sponsor Revolution Bicycleshas gone all out on the prizes, including a HD GoPro POV camera.

PLUS +++ we’ve got the Monster Raffle Prizes for all racers who will have raced 6 races  –

Ramps Sports

A pair of skis or a snowboard from Ramp Sports

Solitude Mountain Resort

A season pass to Solitude Mountain Resort

Cannondale  A brand new 29′er from Cannondale

Complete Nutrition A supply of Buzzerk, Rezzerct, Mega-Shred from Complete Nutrition

Bring your BBQ, you post-race-rehydration and a warm layer, although your BBQ could probably warm ya up.  We’ll be tallying the final season scores as the racers come in, so it may take a bit longer to get to the raffle goodness.  We’ve also got one of our sponsors, Keviar Gear, bringing up a podium for top finishers. So if you think you might be smiling for the camera, feel free to bring your fluffiest fake mustache, pirate hat or any other grin’n garb– even if your not going to podium finish, we’ll have Zazoosh.com taking photos during the race, so have fun with it, it’s our last one of the season.

See you all Tuesday!

PS ”Turn-de-DNF” has been super-marked, so no excuses. < Map Details >
